1. Do you think that Min will ever teach Tree-ear how to make a pot? Why do you think he gives Tree-ear so few verbal instructions at each new step in preparing clay for pottery?
2. How does the way the homeless were treated in Tree-ear's time compare with the way they are treated today? Please explain your answer.

1 Yes, I think that he will.I think that Tree-Ear must prove that he is
hard working. If he proves it well he
will get to make a pot.I think Min
gives Tree-Ear so few verbal instructions to see if he already knows what to do and how to do it.
2 Since it is still early (8:11 am) I
haven't done much (except getting ready for today) so I can't really
answer that question very well.

1.Yes I think he will but I think he has to prove himself to Min before he can learn to make pottery.I think Min gives Tree-ear few verbal instructions because I think he wants him to learn how to do it on his own.
2.I think that in Tree-ear`s time the poor were apreciated more than they are now.

1.Yes I do think Min will show Tree-ear how to make a pot.He gives Tree-ear few verbal instructions because if he did one thing wrong it could mess up a whole pot.
2.Back then the monks helped homeless people. Now there are groups of people who help homeless too.So they are treated the same.

1.Yes I do belive that Min will teach Tree-ear how to make pottery.
2.I think that Min is not giving Tree-ear verbal instructions because he wants to see if Tree-ear knows what to do.Also like the old saying "the less you know the better".

1.I think he will be able to make a pot.I think Min gives Tree-ear very few verbal instructions either because he wants Tree-ear to learn and try things on his own because he seceretly believes in Tree-ear, or he's just a cranky old man...
2.Back then it was every hobo for themselves. Now,they are shelters and donations and help for the homeless.

I do think Min will teach Tree-ear to make a pot. I think Min gave Tree-ear so few verbal instructions because he is just preparing Tree-ear and making him loyal.
I think right now, homeless people are treated better because we have homeless shelters now.
Eventuly, yes because Min will probobly forgive Tree-Ear.
Back then the poor had to feed themselves, now days we have things like food drives to help the poor.

1. I belive that he will teach Tree ear after he proves that he is determined and hard working.
I think that Min gives him so little verbal instruction because he wants to see if all of the hours of Tree ear watching him work really paid off.
2. In his time, homeless people were ingnored and forced to live in horrible conditions with no food or shelter. Now they have many organizations to help them, like the Savation Army and The Lords Diner.

I think he will teach Tree-Ear how to make a pot.I think that the reason why he won't tell him so many instructions is that in the future Tree-Ear will understand it all.
In the past in the book they were left all alone in the streets or under a bridge, but now the homeless are being helped and given homes and clothes.

Yes I do.He just started the job so he should only do a little bit of work.2.Tree-ear has a better life.He gets food and a home.Poor people don't. Jenny
Yes I do think that Min will teach Tree-ear Pottery because he is hard working and the will of fire inside of him will keep burning. But I do not to give verble insructions because he saw Min do it so he might know how to do it.
2.I think now they are treated better then back then.
