Metaphors

We have been discussing metaphors and how writers use them to create a certain feeling for the passage that is being read. Metaphors also make the passage more interesting.

Please write a sentence or two about what it would be like to be a potter. You will need to include a metaphor.

If I was a potter I would want to be like Min in how he works. I would not like to have his rudeness or selfishness like him though.

The potter worked as hard as an ant.

1.It would be cool and it would be diffrent than drawing becuse you use your bare hands.2. It would be like" finger painting on a flying pig".

Being a potter would be like being a wild animal, trying over and over to get their prey. Potters have to redo pots over and over.

If you want to be a good potter you
must be as smart as an owl ( who who?)

It would be fun and cool, because when you stick your hand in the clay will slither up your arm.
