Mrs. Lokke came to visit our class yesterday and brought along her pottery wheel, some clay, and her tools. We were able to watch her "throw" a pot. She really made it look easy. Do you have any observations about what it might be like to make pottery?

It does not look easy. I think that it would be fun though. It was so cool to watch her make the pots. She said that she was not a good potter but I think that she was really good.

As Mrs. Lokke said, pottery is not as easy as it looks. It takes lots of teaching to be able to make a pot. I think even if you take lessons, it is still hard because even now, potters don't know what will happen in the firing. If you learn how to make pottery, it might feel good with the clay spinning and with your fingers touching the clay.
I think potting might be fun and hard because Mrs.Lokke and Mrs.Crowson said it looks easy ,but is actually really hard.I don't think I have any experince on making a pot so I dont know if I can make a pot.

It looks really hard and I think it would be fun It was great to see her make pots it was cool she said she was a beginner but it look like she was really good

It looks really easy but it`s not.It also looks like it would need a lot of patience but it would still be a lot of fun. And if you mess up it could actually turn into a new desighn for a pot.

It looked real easy, but it probably was not at ALL. But to me it seemed fun. I would like to try making a pot. It would take alot of work though.

I think it would be very hard. It looks easy but it must be very hard to put the pot in the right area of the weel.It is not as easy as it looks.

At first, it looked it easy, but it slowly started to look scary. But it does look easy at first.
If I were to try, I would probably do what I usually do when something is hard, act stupid so I can get help.

I think it looks easey because shee has done it before. Just like my dad andd his yo-yo, he makes it look so easy.
