Poppy by AVI
Welcome 3rd graders. This will be something new to help you think deeper about our next selection for reading. We will be reading a wonderful book by the Newberry Medal winning author or Crispin.
As you go through your literature circle activities I would like you to take time to visit this blog and comment on posts that I will list here. In order to do this you will create a Word document (save it to your flash drive) and then print that copy out for me to proof before you post your comment. You will save the printed out copy in your binder.
I encourage you to read the comments of your peers and feel free to make additional comments to those.
Our first post for you to respond to is this. If you could be either an owl, mouse, or porcupine-which would you choose to be and why? Remember to give as many details as you can. Please refer to the research chart that we have created.
