Our third graders are reading the book Poppy by AVI and completing a literature circle to share their insights about this wonderful story.

Yes, I would recommend this book to only some of my friends because only some of my friends would like this book.
I like this book because it is a mystery and I love mysteries. My favorite character in this book is Mrs. Sharpe because she is very mysterious.

I loved the book, and I thought the author and illustrator were both good. The book got the most exciting starting at page 134 (Chapter Fourteen, Flashing Lights). I would recommend the book to the friend because it makes you think (like Calder with pentominoes).
Yes, I would recommend this book to
some people but not others. I don't
know if some people would enjoy this book, but I kind of liked it.
I like this book because it was fun to read and took time to read.
